Free app. Paid skills. Optional token.
Factory Log costs nothing: the macOS app, the CLI and the log format are free and open source. What you can buy are the skill packs that make your agents report the way you want — with a card, or in $FLOG at a holder rate.

Nine of the twenty-four, and what they do.
A skill is a small instruction set your agent loads and follows. It decides what gets logged, in what shape, and what never goes into a report. Every skill ships as plain files you can read and edit.
Release Notes
Turns a day or a week of reports into release notes grouped by project, refactors left out.
Changelog Keeper
Keeps CHANGELOG.md in step with what shipped, in semver order, without touching entries it didn't write.
Standup Digest
Yours before the first meeting: yesterday per project, in three lines, ready to paste.
PR Storyteller
Writes the pull request description from the task log — what changed, what was verified, what's still open.
Client Report
A per-project report with the work done and the estimated time behind it, formatted for a client who never wants to see a JSONL line.
Sprint Ledger
Maps reports onto issues or tickets and shows what actually moved this sprint, and what stalled.
Handoff Notes
Before you stop for the day: what is half-finished, what the next person needs, and where it lives.
Guardrail
The instruction pack that enforces the reporting rules: short factual summaries, no code, no diffs, no command output, no secrets.
Time Audit
Flags the weeks where the log looks thin, the project that has quietly been costing you, and the days with no reports at all.
One wallet, one transaction, one library.
Connect a Solana wallet, pick a pack, pay in $FLOG, and the skill files land in your library keyed to that wallet. Card checkout stays available for anyone who prefers it — the holder rate is just usually better.
Connect a Solana wallet
Phantom, Solflare or any wallet that signs a transaction. The wallet address is your licence — no email, no password, no account.
Pick a pack
Your $FLOG balance is read at checkout and the matching holder rate is applied: 20% off from 5,000, 40% off from 50,000, everything included from 250,000.
Pay and install
One transaction, then the skill files are ready to drop into your agent. Nothing about your Factory Log history is involved — the log never leaves your Mac.
Buy $FLOG only from the link posted on @tryfactorylog. Anything else claiming to be $FLOG is a fake, and we will never send you an address in a DM.
What holders get
| Tier | Hold | You get |
|---|---|---|
| Scout | 5,000+ $FLOG | 20% off every pack, paid in $FLOG or by card. |
| Builder | 50,000+ $FLOG | 40% off every pack, plus the Pro Pack included. |
| Factory | 250,000+ $FLOG | The entire catalog included, including every skill released while you hold. |
Tiers are floor checks on a live balance, not locks: sell below the threshold and the rate drops, buy back and it returns. The app stays free at every tier, and nothing in the app is ever behind a wallet.
Paying for skills, and using $FLOG.
Do I need $FLOG to use Factory Log?
No. The app is free and stays free at every tier. $FLOG is only a way to pay for skill packs, plus a discount on them.
Can I buy skills in $FLOG today?
Checkout opens with the token launch. The skill catalog, the pack contents and the holder rates on this page are already fixed, so the rate you qualify for is the one you get from the first day of checkout.
How is my $FLOG balance checked?
At checkout, from the wallet that is paying — a live balance read, nothing more. There is no staking contract, no lock-up period and no approval you have to revoke.
Does a skill pack need my Factory Log history?
Never. Skills are instruction files for your agent; they run on your Mac and the log stays in ~/Library/Application Support/Factory Log/. Buying a pack never uploads a report, a project name or a wallet-linked work history.
What if I buy with a card instead?
Card checkout is always available at the listed price. Paying in $FLOG is usually cheaper for holders, and cheaper than the card price for Scout tier and above once you hold 5,000 $FLOG.
Do skills update when Factory Log updates?
Yes. Skills carry a version and a compatibility range; when a Factory Log release changes the event contract, the packs you own get an update. Pro and Factory bundles include updates for a year, and Factory tier holders keep receiving new skills as they ship.
Is $FLOG an investment?
No. $FLOG is a payment token for a catalog of skill packs, with holder discounts. It is not a security, it pays no dividend or yield, and nothing here is financial advice.
